What is the Ohio
Daylily Society (ODS)?
We are a:
Group of Ohio daylily enthusiasts,
Organized to promote and encourage the enjoyment of growing daylilies,
Affiliated with the American Hermerocallis Society (AHS),
Who meet periodically at the Kingwood Center in Mansfield, Ohio, and
Have fun sponsoring daylily events such as:
• Shows
• Sales and auctions
• Garden visits
• Guest plant program • Youth program
• Speaker and education programs
The Ohio Daylily Society is an
American Hemerocallis Society affiliate club in Region 2 which includes
Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.
The ODS meets in Mansfield, Ohio, on
the grounds of Kingwood Center. Meetings are held in the Kingwood
Meeting Hall and/or Exhibition Hall. There is no charge for entrance
to the Kingwood grounds.
There are currently 117 members of the
ODS, 2011 roster. Dues are $8 a year, per membership. With the paid
membership comes the benefit of receiving a new daylily guest plant, twice a
year, at no additional charge. The free daylily is grown for 2 years
in the member's own garden. After 2 years, any increase is returned to
the club for auction. One fan is kept by the club member for their own
daylily collection. If you would like to join the Ohio Daylily
Society, print the form at the bottom and send to the address on the
form. Guest plants are distributed to members who attend the
meeting in which the plant is given.

Any
member whose 2011 membership was paid by 12/31/10 is eligible
to receive guest plants this year. |

The public is invited to plant
sales and auctions. Guest Plants are for members only. [see schedule tab]. |
